OUR VISION
Afghan Autism Parenting Journey is more than just a blog! It is a movement to amplify voices, foster awareness and build a supportive community for Afghan families on the autism journey, ensuring that no Afghan parent walks this path alone.
THE BLOGGER
Hilai N. (Freshta) is an Afghan-Canadian parent, an ESL instructor and advocate, with an academic background in Psychology and Health Studies from the University of Toronto. Hilai is currently specializing in Autism and Behavioural Sciences (ABA). She shares the journey of raising a 10-year-old autistic son while raising awareness and support for autism in Afghan communities.
